Deep Sinking

Hi. I am a big fan of quicksand scenes in animation. I enjoy both
anime and other animation types including kids shows. I like the
Damsel in Distress aspect of them. I am going to use this thread
to share some finds with you. Instead of using the "swamp of scenes"
technique I am going to spread these out a bit. I know these do not
appeal to everybody so I will try to include a screenshot for each scene.

The first two are from the same anime. Blue Blink. In Episode 18
a mysterious flower grows in the woods. When a man tries to pick the
flowers he steps into a bottomless swamp. His daughter tries to save
him but gets stuck as well.

In episode 35 of Blue Blink the group is walking through the
desert when the princess starts getting pulled into the sand.

These are two really nice scenes! Thanks for sharing, I prefer the quicksand scenes of cartoons/anime myself more than I do the filmed scenes the producers do! I look forward to seeing what other nice finds you have!

Recent find from cartoon Roll No 21. Episode Desert Safari. Hero
fixes the bus, but then it leaves without him. Good Thing because
he hears a girl crying for help, she and her camel are in quicksand.

Later the Sand Man creates a wave of sand and the group sinks.

Heres an older one from the cartoon Rahan episode 8
(Gotta love Episode 8s) A couple tells Rahan how they met.
He rescued her from a pit of quicksand. Only Vhs quality.

In Avengers Assemble Episode 8 (good old episode 8 again.)
Black Widow has some sinking scenes. A character called
the Molecule Kid can turns things into muck. First she sinks
into a melting building. Then falls into the muck up to her neck.
Then sinks to her waist in orange goo. Neat episode I hope to
find a better copy.

Pop Pixie Episode 11. This series stars the little fairies from the Winx
series. The group goes camping and runs into a swamp.
The male character uses his power to talk to insects to
save them.

Once again, it is said that this (melodramatic) "interest" is rare.
However, time and time again it finds its way into so many formats, for example cartoons!
They still continue to start "them" young.

This interest is not rare as commonly believed.

It is full of people who do not talk too much about it with the exception of a few, many whom are known to us.

Also, they have come a long way in quality from the days of the 1950's Tarzan movies.
